I am going to be marrying my best friend and becoming Mrs. Corey Borgen(!) Holy cow! I spent a good chunk of time today practicing my new signature like a little 6th grade girl and I was smiling the entire time. I cannot WAIT to begin our new lives together as husband and wife. As much as I always look ahead, I'm trying to be present and really appreciate these last few weeks because my life will be drastically different after the 27th of this month, not in a bad way of course, but different! I becomes we, mine becomes ours!
Most of the big things are finished and now it's just the details. Oh, and getting a marriage license, which Jon and I both kind of forgot about!!
Everything is going well on the job front. Just got back from a 3 day orientation in Yuba City, which could have easily been condensed into one day. If anything, I got to know some of my fellow co-workers better and was reminded to be present. I am very strengths-based with my clients and truly believe more "results" will occur when we focus on strengths instead of weakness (which is why I might have some trouble diagnosing) but I realize that I am not very strengths based in my own life. I would really like to change that.
I have been extremely blessed in the last year and really couldn't imagine being happier. Everything has fallen into place so easily. GOD IS FAITHFUL!
